What We Do

We offer full-day and half-day guided tours of Cootehill Town and surrounding areas. Tours will be presented by Patrick and Margaret who will share their knowledge of the area and they can organise tours to suit your group and any requirements they may have.

Half-Day Tours

A half-day walking tour of Cootehill led by Patrick Cassidy aims to provide you with an understanding of the origins and growth of the town itself in an informal way. Cootehill is a great example of an 18th century Ulster plantation market town.

A half-day walking tour will be led by Margaret Bannon focussing on memories of days past and the story of cinema in Cootehill. The tour will begin at the Railway Station which once played a major role in the history of the town and we will share local history and stories at different stops along the way in an informal and relaxed pace, light refreshments available.
